Far from being a screenwriter, I write movie reviews as a hobby and also as a preparation for film school, if I ever get in. I choose film as the medium through which I expand my horizons because I believe that, altogether, imagery, music and storytelling can capture the different aspects of life and recreate or preserve them on the screen. I believe in the power of film to change people but in order for this to happen, we should not just watch movies, we should read them like books.
